Annapurna Sanctuary

Day 1 Arrive Kathmandu
Arrive in Kathmandu at any time.

Day 2 Kathmandu
Just wait until you feel the vibe of colourful Kathmandu. Meet the monkeys while climbing to Swayambhunath, walk around the mammoth Bodhnath Stupa and delve into the magical history of Durbar Square in the old city. Don't forget to check out Thamel's great shopping!

Day 3 Pokhara
Time to chill out in Pokhara and hire any gear that may be needed for the next step of our adventure. Gaze across the picturesque lake and contemplate the snow-capped peaks of our upcoming challenge, the Annapurna Ranges.

Day 4-13 Annapurna Ranges
On the Annapurna Sanctuary trek we'll traverse a wide variety of terrain from lowland pastures and peaceful villages to dramatic glaciers and stunning mountain pathways. While the trekking is challenging, averaging six to seven hours a day on steep terrain, our expedition into the mountains allows you to experience the 'Roof of the World'. Along the way see thundering waterfalls, cross icy rivers and high mountain passes and reward ourselves with a soak in natural hot springs. Overnight we stay in small, rustic teahouses allowing us to meet Nepali hill people.

Days 14 Pokhara
Return to Pokhara for a well-earned shower and an end of trek celebration. Relax, recover and reminisce!
