Trekking In Everest
The Khumbu, known commonly as the Everest region, is also the home of the Sherpa people and mysterious Yeti. It is located in the northeast of Nepal. The best known of all Himalayan tribal people, the Sherpas live mainly in this Solu Khumbu region at the foot of Mt. Everest and they establish themselves as the world famous high altitude climbers. The trek itself takes you amongst many Sherpa villages and fabulous mountain scenery. Walking through famous Sherpa village of Namche Bazar and Tengboche monastery will bring you a spectacular view of mesmerizing peak of Ama Dablam and Everest. Gokyo Chola Pass
The trek to Gokyo offers a good alternative to the traditional trek to Everest Base Camp. From Gokyo four 8000m peaks (Cho Oyu, Everest, Lhotse and Makalu) are clearly visible. There are several options for additional side trips and high altitude walking, including the crossing of Chola, a 5420m high pass into Khumbu.

Gokyo Ri Trek
